There are plenty of hotels close to UNAM and Insurgentes Sur. However, given the size of the UNAM campus, some transportation is needed to get to Universum. Metrobús is the most convenient one, the closest stop is called 'Centro Cultural Universitario'. We will provide detailed instructions for walking the 1.1 Km between this stop and Universum. It is a pleasant and safe walk.

Hotels along Insurgentes Sur and close to the City Centre can be an excellent choice for fully enjoying Mexico City.

Many of them are close to traditional districts, which are called 'Barrios Mágicos', and constitute an excellent option for taking pleasure in relaxing night strolls and exquisite dinners.

- San Ángel area: It has the advantage of being very close to the metrobus line reaching Universum. There are plenty of nice restaurants around within walking distance and it is not far (the taxi will cost you 3 to 5 dollars) from the core of Barrios Mágicos Coyoacán and Sán Ángel itself. Other areas of the city (such as its centre, el Zócalo) are also easily reachable by public transportation (metro or metrobus). San Ángel is some 7 Km away from Universum.

- Coyoacán area: Coyoacán, barrio mágico, has only some 300 rooms distributed in small hotels of different categories. For CHARM 2020 we have arranged convenient rates as follows (most of the hotels, including breakfast, are 'boutique hotels'). Given the high touristic demand on the area we cannot warrant availability in Coyoacán if booking is not done as early as possible. Please do it as we publish the fares that will be applied to CHARM 2020 participants. Coyoacán is some 8 Km away from Universum and transportation by car can take some 20 minutes.

We will provide daily bus service between Coyoacán and Universum.
