Description
In this paper we study the annihilation of dark matter, considering this as a neutral particle with nonzero magnetic and/or electric dipole moments. We compute of the annihilation cross section of the process χχ ̅ → γγ, with a general form of the coupling χχ ̅ γ in the frame of an extension of the Standard Model. It is considered that the dark matter mass is in the range 0 < mχ < 10 GeV. In particular, we found a relatively light particle with a magnetic and/or electric dipole moments of 3×10^−16 e cm and satisfies all experimental and observational dimensions if the cross section is ∼10^−6 pb with mχ∼10 GeV, which is in good agreement with those reported in the literature.
