Description

The Belle-II experiment represents a collaboration of about 650 researchers from around the world working to build the next-generation of B-factory experiments at the Intensity Frontier. Located in Japan, the Belle II detector will explore physics phenomena at scales of about 100 TeV through precision measurements, which cannot be studied directly using high energy accelerators such as the LHC. In this talk we will review the Belle-II detector, physics goals, plans and timescales, and ongoing work, emphasizing the Mexican participation on these activities.
