Abstract content
The Standard Model of Particle physics is a spectacularly successful theory of elementary particles and their interactions, and the only missing piece is the higgs bosson, responsible of the mass of the particles and which has not been yet observed. However, for many years the experiments at the Tevatron collider, and now experiments at the Large Hadron Collider have been hunting this elusive particle, at the point that the mass region for it to be has been reduce considerable, so there is not so much room for the higgs to hide. In this talk we will review some of these searches and we will see where we are now and what room is left for the higgs to be.
