DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Prof. MURAKI\, Yasushi (Nagoya University)\nIn assoc
iation with the large solar flare of April 15th 2001\, the Chacaltaya \nne
utron monitor observed an 8.2 sigma enhancement of the counting rate \nbet
ween 13:51 and 14:24 UT. Since the enhancement was observed from 11 \nmin
utes before the GLE\, solar neutrons must be involved in this enhancement.
\n Comparing with the Yohkoh Soft X-ray Telescope images with the observ
ed \nparticle time profiles\, we can draw a picture on the particle accele
ration \nmechanism as follows. By the loop-loop collisions\, high speed
plasma wind is\ngenerated. When the high speed plasma hits at another mag
netic loop\,\nparticles inside the loop may be accelerated by the collisio
n process within a \nfew minutes. This may be an origin of solar cosmic r
 ays.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/event/4/session/72/contribution/9
