 tic particles in the heliosphere is described by the Parker\ntransport equ
 ation. It includes the physical processes of diffusion\, drift\,\nconvecti
 on and adiabatic energy changes. For the modulation of the particle's ener
 gy\nspectra the geometry of the heliospheric magnetic field is important\,
  but it is still\nan unsolved\nproblem.\n\nIn this contribution we present
  model calculations of the particle mean- free-path in\ntwo different fiel
 d configurations: the standard Parker geometry and a Fisk-Parker\nhybrid f
 ield. Results for both magnetic field models are shown comparatively and t
 he\nimplications on the particle transport are discussed.\n\nhttps://indic
