DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. GIOVACCHINI\, Francesca (University and INFN Bol
ogna)\nFor energies less than ~3 GeV/n\, the Cosmic Rays Antideuteron comp
onent due \nto spallation becomes negligible for kinematic reasons and th
e detection of \neven a single antideuteron would strongly suggest the exi
stence of new \nsources\, like neutralino Dark Matter.\nThe AMS-02 experim
ent\, on board of ISS for a long duration mission (3 years)\, \nthanks to
its large acceptance (~ 0.5 m2 sr) and its good particle identification \n
will be able to push down the current upper limit on the antideuteron flux
into \nthe region where some new physics effects are expected.\nWe will r
eport on the results of a detailed study\, using Monte Carlo simulation\,
\nwhere the AMS-02 sensitivity for antideuterons has been estimated as
of \n5X10^-7 (m^2 sr sec)^-1 in the kinetic energy range between 0.2 an
 d 1 \nGeV/n.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/event/4/session/40/contri
