Since its first observation by the COHERENT collaboration in 2017, the process of coherent elastic neutrino–nucleus scattering (CEνNS) has emerged as a powerful tool to study neutrino interactions and search for physics beyond the Standard Model. In this talk, we review the current status of CEνNS measurements using neutrinos from spallation neutron sources, nuclear reactors, and the Sun, emphasizing the complementarity between dedicated CEνNS experiments and dark matter direct-detection experiments that have observed CEvNS from solar neutrinos as part of their backgrounds. Using data from all these experiments we probe Standard Model parameters, like the weak mixing angle, as well as a variety of new-physics scenarios, focusing on non-standard neutrino interactions, light mediators, and electromagnetic properties of neutrinos. Finally, we discuss the sensitivity of spallation source experiments to dark matter searches from the decay of neutral mesons, having CEvNS in this case as a source of backgrounds. https://unam.zoom.us/j/85882180732?pwd=T39BbcRraaKaHtSlhwv1RJZ6Oaza3P.1 Meeting ID: 858 8218 0732
