In this work, we analyze a non-minimal SUSY $SU(5)$ model extended with an $S_3$ modular flavor symmetry, a Higgs sector containing six electroweak doublets, and right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) as singlets under the gauge symmetry. The model is defined at the grand unified scale, and we aim to reproduce the mass hierarchy and the mixing pattern in the quark and lepton sectors at low energies. This will be accomplished by adjusting the model's free parameters using a $\chi^2$ fitting procedure.
