We start by reproducing the results in the literature of leptonic decays of muon and tau leptons using the most general four-lepton effective interaction of dimension six. First, working in the decaying-lepton rest frame, we calculate the final charged-lepton distribution while incorporating the effects of the initial charged lepton polarization. We review the new generalized Michel parameters in terms of the Wilson coefficients of the effective interaction. As a next step, we want to extend this formalism to radiative charged-lepton decays, which allow us to extract new insights, such as the impact of heavy Dirac or Majorana neutrino masses on the diferential decay rate.
