In this seminar I will focus on two BSM topics, dark matter and charged lepton flavor violation. For this, I'll use effective field theories, which are tools that allow us to look for new physics in a model-independent way using the available experimental limits. In the first part I will discuss dark matter phenomenology involving operators generated by vector mediators.
