Description

We study the axio-dilaton, complex structure and Kähler moduli stabilization for a generic Calabi-Yau(CY) compactification near the conifold, we focus in models with one complex structure parameter. We also consider the regime of strong warping of the metric. In the first step axio-dilaton and complex structure moduli are stabilized simultaneously comparing with previous results, showing that one can not stabilize the axio-dilaton modulus in a first step. For fluxes configurations leading a near the conifold vacuum the complex structure modulus is orders of magnitude heavier than the axio-dilaton, this is in general the case when we add the warping correction to the Kähler potential. We study the dependence of the vacua stabilization with the compactification volume and with the addition of an anti-D3 brane. In general the addition of the anti-D3 does’nt destabilize the moduli. We analyze the concrete one-parameter compact CY with (h21,h11)=(1,101). The compactness of the extra-dimensions brings contributions from the fluxes near the conifold that are relevant to the analysis. Scale hierarchies between the 6D internal and 4D space-time scale can still be obtained in type IIB string theory CY effective theories, also when the mentioned corrections are considered.
