The Analysis/Off-Line Group of the MexNICA Collaboration will host the 4th Computing/Analysis Workshop of the MexNICA Collaboration 15 – 17 June 2022.
Aim:
To continue with the training of the members of the MexNICA Collaboration to learn the use of MpdRoot and carry out the analysis tasks of the MPD in which the members of the collaboration are involved.
Overview:
In order to carry out data analysis in the MPD, it is necessary to know how to use the framework and create Monte Carlo events that mimic real data collisions in the experiment. For that, we require the generation of the underlying physics events, the particle transport and calculation of the energy deposits in the detector, digitization of the energy deposits, and finally the reconstruction of the event. The members of the MexNICA collaboration need to be constantly updated in the methodology to perform these tasks using the MpdRoot framework and other physics analyses. The MexNICA collaboration is involved in different stages of analysis and so this 4th workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss with the official computing team of the MPD experiment.
Participants:
Members of MexNICA Collaboration, MPD Collaboration, and special guests.
