DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. FERNANDEZ RAMIREZ\, Cesar (ICN-UNAM)\nThe recent
ly discovered pentaquark signal $P_c(4312)^+$ by the LHCb collaboration la
ys right below the $\\Sigma_c^+ \\bar{D}^0$ threshold\, making it a prime
candidate for a molecular interpretation. In this work we present the firs
t pole determination of the signal from the data and will discuss its poss
 ible molecular nature.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/event/1546/sess

SUMMARY:Chiral Symmetry Breaking in Reduced QED with a Chern-Simons term

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. RAYA\, Alfredo (IFM-UMSNH)\nWe study the gap equ
ation for the fermion propagator in Reduced QED coupled with a Chern-Simon
s term. In the ordinary theory\, the electromagnetic coupling needs to exc
eed a critical value in order for mases to be generated. Adding the influe
nce of a Chern-Simons term\, it is observed that there exists a critical v
alue of the theta-term above which chiral symmetry is restored regardless
the strength of the coupling. These findings are of direct relevance in gr
aphene physics to understand the semimetal-insulator transition in the pre
sence of parallel electric and magnetic fields. Connections with the chira
l magnetic effect are also explored.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/e

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: JHOVANNY\, Mejia (Universidad de Antioquia)\nWith th
e increased center-of-mass energy and luminosity at the LHC\, the studies
of the heavy\nquarkonium systems like Bc(1S) has been renewed. CMS has rec
ently reported the observation\nof two very well separated peaks\, interpr
eted as the predicted Bc(2S) and Bc(2S)* states\,\nwhen studying the mass
distribution of the Bcππ system. \nWith the full Run-II data\, correspon
ding to an integrated luminosity of 143 fb^{-1} of pp interactions\, \nIn
this talk we report the studies performed on those selected candidates to
extract the\nproduction ratios and other characteristics.\n\nhttps://indic
