DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Ms. GARCÍA HERNÁNDEZ\, Marcela (CINVESTAV)\nThe Su
perKEKB collider has recently achieved an instantaneous luminosity of 2.22
  x 10^34 cm-2 s-1\, the world's highest\, and will increase up to 8 x 10^3
5 cm-2 s-1 in the next few years.\nIt collides electrons and positrons at
the Belle II experiment at a center-of-mass energy of the Upsilon(4S) mass
. Belle II is not only a considered a Super B-factory\, but also a tau-fac
tory. This talk will summarize the experiment features and the tau physics
program\, and will mainly cover the ongoing studies of the tau group. The
se include tracking and efficiencies studies\, the measurement of the tau
 mass\, and searches for new physics in Lepton Flavor Violating channels\;
in particular\, tau to lepton invisible and tau to lepton gamma.\n\nhttps:

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mr. RICALDE HERRMANN\, Daniel Enrique (Universidad A
utonoma de Sinaloa)\nWe present and discuss the results from the experimen
t “Large Angle Beamstrahlung Monitor” (LABM). We installed the detecto
r in the “High Energy Accelerator Research Organization” (KEK) lab\, t
his helped us to understand how each component of the detector works. Also
\, we did a simulation on Geant4 to understand the behavior of the backgro
und noise in the measurements of the LABM. Lastly\, we did the data analys
is using the 2019 and 2020 data\, where we used the 2019 data as control t
o observe the behavior of the data on top conditions. The final result all
owed us to find a way to differentiate between background noise and the si
gnal that we are looking for.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/event/15

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mr. YOUSSF\, Sarkis (UNAM)\nWe study the ionization
efficiency by an integral equation beyond Lindhard’s theory\, describing
the energy given to atomic motion by nuclear recoils in a pure material w
hen the atomic binding energy is taken into account implying a cutoff. We
show that the integral equation can be solved numerically\, which depends
on electronic stopping power and the binding energy. This leads to an esti
mation of the ionization efficiency which is in good agreement with the av
ailable experimental measurements for Si\, Ge\, and Xe. In this talk\, we
are also going to expose recent studies to extent the ionization efficienc
y for Si to lower energies\, reaching the region of interest for dark matt
 er and neutrino searches.  \n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/event/154

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mr. GARCIA DE LA VEGA\, Leon Manuel (Instituto de Fi
sica)\nWe present a framework where the Peccei-Quinn symmetry that gives r
ise to the QCD axion also forbids neutrino Majorana mass terms. The breaki
ng of this symmetry can also leave a remnant Z2 symmetry which stabilizes
a WIMP dark matter candidate. We briefly discuss the consequences of this
mixed axion + WIMP dark matter scenario.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.
