DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. NATH\, Newton (Instituto de Física\, UNAM\, Mex
 ico City)\nNon-standard interactions (NSIs)\, possible sub-leading effects
originating from new physics beyond the Standard Model\, may affect the p
ropagation of neutrinos and eventually contribute to measurements of neutr
ino oscillations. In this talk\, we will discuss how NSIs will affect the
determination of neutrino mass hierarchy and the Dirac CP phase in a model
 -independent way. Furthermore\, considering model-dependent NSIs\, dependi
ng on different constraints coming from non-oscillation experiments which
restrict NSIs parameter space\, we discuss their importance for the upcomi
 ng long-baseline experiment DUNE.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.unam.mx/even

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. FLORES\, Luis (IFUNAM)\nThe first observations o
f coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus\nscattering (CEvNS) were made by the C
 OHERENT collaboration\, using\nCsI (2017) and liguid argon (2020) detector
 s. Since then\, a significant number of new experiments are planned to obs
erve this elusive process using different nuclei.\n\nIn this talk\, we wil
l discuss the Standard Model physics that can be\nextracted from this proc
ess\, along with some searches of New Physics\nthat have been extensively
studied\, such as the so called Nonstandard\nNeutrino Interactions (NSI).
To explain NSI\, we have proposed a model\nwith a new light gauge Z' boson
that couples differently with each\nflavor. In order to constrain this mo
del\, we used COHERENT\ndata\, as well as future upgrades consisting of LA
r\, Ge\, and NaI\ndetectors. We found that this model leads to four differ
ent\nphenomenological viable scenarios\, with different predictions in the
\nneutrino sector as well as different cross sections for CEvNS.\n\nhttps:

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Mr. SANDERS\, Oscar (Departamento de Física\, CINVE
 STAV)\nCoherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (Cevns) is a process t
hat\nhad been predicted since the 70's and has been recently measured in\n
two different detectors by the COHERENT collaboration. In this talk I\nwi
ll concentrate in the implications of these results on sterile\nneutrinos.
I will also discuss future perspectives in this lively\nfield. Implicatio
ns for other tests of the Standard Model\, such as a\nmeasurement of the w
eak mixing angle will be briefly discussed.\n\nhttps://indico.nucleares.un
