XXXIII Reunión Anual de la División de Partículas y Campos de la SMF
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif">The Division of Particles and Fields of the Mexican Physical Society (DPyC-SMF) organizes every year the Annual Meeting (RADPyC). This space is dedicated mainly for the exposure of results of graduate students and young researchers working in high energy physics and includes some review talks on the hot topics of the field. This year the meeting will be held in Sala de Proyecciones, Edificio Carolino - Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, México.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif"><span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); color:rgb(119, 119, 119)">The scientific programmme will consist of invited and contributed talks, and a poster session. It will begin in the morning of Sunday 26 May and end before lunch on Tuesday 28 May. </span></span></span></p>

Active galactic nuclei (AGN), the most common type of GeV gamma-ray sources, have a preponderant role as extragalactic particle accelerators. Unfortunately our vision of them is limited to the nearby Universe by the process of photon-photon attenuation of very high-energy gamma-rays, which limits the observable distance for a given photon energy coverage. The HAWC gamma-ray observatory, an extensive air shower array in continuous operation in Mexico since 2015, has surveyed 2/3 of the sky at TeV energies with the sensitivity to detect the Crab Nebula in single transits. We present a three year follow-up study of a redshift limited sample of AGN previously detected at GeV energies, performed with a sensitivity down to integrated photon fluxes N(> 0.5TeV) ~ 1e-12 cm-2 s-1.
