DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Dr. CARRAMINANA\, Alberto (INAOE)\nActive galactic n
uclei (AGN)\, the most common type of GeV gamma-ray sources\, have a prepo
nderant role as extragalactic particle accelerators. Unfortunately our vis
ion of them is limited to the nearby Universe by the process of photon-pho
ton attenuation of very high-energy gamma-rays\, which limits the observab
le distance for a given photon energy coverage. The HAWC gamma-ray observa
tory\, an extensive air shower array in continuous operation in Mexico sin
ce 2015\, has surveyed 2/3 of the sky at TeV energies with the sensitivity
to detect the Crab Nebula in single transits. We present a three year fol
low-up study of a redshift limited sample of AGN previously detected at Ge
V energies\, performed with a sensitivity down to integrated photon fluxes
