DESCRIPTION:The Mexican School of Particles and Fields (MSPF) is organiz
 ed every two years by the Division of Particles and Fields (DPyC) of the M
 exican Physical Society. The MSPF is designed to complement the education 
 of advanced graduate students and young postdocs working in High Energy Ph
 ysics (HEP) in Mexico and abroad.\n\nThe 2018 University of Sonora School
  of High Energy Physics(USHEP)  is a school designed to attract new grad
 uate students to the newly created HEP program at the University of Sonora
 .\n\nThis joint school has been organized with programs that complement ea
 ch other and will take place in the colonial city of Hermosillo\, Sonora\
 , from the 21st to the 27th of October 2018. The format of the joint scho
 ol will consist of several courses devoted to advanced topics in elementar
 y particle physics\, taught from a modern perspective\, to be delivered by
  well known specialists in different areas of high energy physics. The pro
 gram will include theoretical and experimental review seminars on the late
 st developments in the field. Poster sessions will be included too\, aimed
  to allow the participants to show their research\, and to enhance the int
 eraction of the students with the speakers. An excursion to a beautiful be
 ach is planned as well as a special dinner and a public lecture at the Uni
 versity of Sonora.\n\n\n\nThe event is organized by the following committe
