Abstract content

The wealth of data collected by LHCb during Run~I has allowed obtaining a wide selection of results in the unique phase space covered by its detector: pseudorapidity ($\eta$) range $2<\eta<5,$ low $p_T$ and low Bjorken $x$ values. These results are and will be used as reference in the tuning of Monte Carlo generators parameters influencing processes including but not limited to light and heavy quark production, multi-parton interactions, parton fragmentation. A review of the impact of these measurements on the current tuning of the LHCb Monte Carlo and the expectation from further work based also on Run~II results will be given.
