Content
We study the relation between the continuum threshold within finite energy sum rules and the trace of the Polyakov loop in the frame of a nonlocal SU(2) chiral quark model, establishing a contact betweem both deconfinement paramenters at finite temperature and chemical potential . In our analysis, we also incorporate the chiral quark condensate as an order parameter for the chiral symmetry restoration We found that the continuum threshold and the trace of the POlyakov loop provide the same information for the deconfinement transitioon, both for the zero and the finite chemical potential cases.
